Teacher trainees to undertake one year mandatory national service.

The National Service Scheme has asked all newly train teachers to undertake a mandatory national service starting from 2018/2019 service year. The scheme is therefore requesting all newly train teachers to visit their site to access their pin codes with their respective index numbers. NSS is therefore urging all prospective national service personnel to complete their enrollment process on or before Thursday 15th November 2018.

Government of Ghana has dissolved the KNUST governing Council and, in its stead, put in place a 7-member Interim Council Members. It has also directed that the University reopens within fourteen days to enable academic work to continue. CHILD LABOUR.                 In Africa , children in our communities suffer from child labour. The boulevards of the street becomes their place of abode when parents fails to provide them shelter and sometimes do tidous work before they are given food to eat. Children are been forced work for survival ,that is when you see them on the road and some at awuful places working.                  In Ghana ,majority of children enroll the streets with the sole aim of fending for themselves. To mention a few ;  kayayoo ,truck pushing ,hawking and prostitution are the "jobs" our children of the future hold in high esteem to make ends meet. The president of the Republic of Ghana Nana Akufo Addo has said on a rare occasion, dumsor can have a positive impact. Speaking at the National cyber security Awareness on the theme "A Safer Digital Ghana", the President said the government has put in place a number of steps to accelerate the process of formalising the Ghanaian economy. The government is creating a system where all economic transactions and social activities are fully captured and recorded. Moving the economy from being cash base to one where business transactions are done electronically is an integral part of this development of formalization. He said while the government is undertaking this project to digitize the economy, they are also mindful of the dark side of digitalization, that is cyber crimes, cyber war and terrorism among others. Mr. Oppong Nkrumah has also admonished players in the advertising industry to go beyond executing client briefs and now redefine their role to help clients interface with empowered consumers in a technology driven advertising world. Dr Bawumia jabs NDC in a new video.

The vice president of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has thrown a challenge to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to tell Ghanaians one social intervention they introduced during their tenure to reduce economic hardship on Ghanaians. "We have done tangible things to reduce the hardship on Ghanaians,we can point to them today the NDC is going around saying that there are hardship so what we want to ask is, and I want to challenge them, simply challenge, tell us what you have done in your last 8 years of government.Tell us the social intervention you brought in to reduced the hardship on Ghanaians". Press Releases: President Of Sierra Leone Visits Ghana On Monday

The President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, His Excellency Julius Maada Bio, will on Monday, 22ndOctober, 2018, begin a 2-day official visit to Ghana. The purpose of the visit is to strengthen and deepen the ties of friendship and co-operation between Ghana and Sierra Leone, as well as explore other areas of co-operation between the two countries, which will inure to the benefit of their two peoples. President Maada Bio will call on President Akufo-Addo at Jubilee House on his arrival, where the two leaders will hold bilateral talks. President Akufo-Addo will also host his Sierra Leonean counterpart to an official lunch, also at Jubilee House. The Sierra Leonean President, whilst in Ghana, will also meet Sierra Leoneans resident in Ghana, as well as undertake a number of visits to some institutions in the country.   President Maada Bio is expected to leave Ghana on Tuesday, 23rd October, 2018.

A 2 years old child has been beaten to a pulp by his stepfather Mr kwaku Duah,who resides in Moshie Zongo a suburb of Kumasi. According to eye witness the man after beaten the child locked him up in a room for three days. No arrest has been made by the police. Below are the pictures of the child

NABCO Trainees to go through six months probation---- Dr Ibrahim Anyass

Dr Ibrahim Anyass has said government will pay monthly stipend of GH700 to  all NABCO trainees for a six months probation period. He said trainees will have to pass through quarterly evaluation and those quarterly evaluation is just the usual employment contract, that they have to meet a six months probation period. According to Dr Ibrahim Anyass all those employed under NABCO will receive their monthly stipend. "The first quarter evaluation to be done at the end of December, the next one at the end of March and then they get a substantive letter of appointment saying that they have met the key performance indicators and we have  summarized into those core values". He told News File host Sampson Anyenini on Saturday. He confirmed that during the six months probation period government will pay the trainees.

A father beats 2 years old stepson to a pulp at Moshie Zongo.

A father whose identity is yet to be revealed to Campus News has beaten his 2 years old stepson to a pulp at Moshie Zongo a suburb of Kumasi. According to eye witness, the man after beaten the child locked him up in a room for three days. So far no arrest has been made. Campus News will update you soon on this story

GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT DELAY NABCO ALLOWANCE---Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jr

The Editor-In-Chif of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jr has said government should not delay in payment of monthly allowance to NABCO personnel when they begin to work for the country. He said if the allowance is paid on time,it will motivate the trainees to work to the satisfaction of government. According to him when the government begin to have challenges with cash flow, there is going to be a problem. "There are few areas I would alert them,see in terms of the cash flow, sending the moneys to the place where they are to be sent, and payment is a perennial problem in this country. You see when you begin to have challenges with cash flow,there will be problem" He said when personnel are not paid for two, three to four months,they will demotivate  and the programme will lose its credibility. He said this on News File on Joy News Channel. The Nation Builders are to receive a monthly stipend of  700 CEDI's.

NABCO PERSONNEL TO BEGIN WORK ON 1ST NOVEMBER---DR ANYASS IBRAHIM

Workers to be employed under NABCO will begin work on 1st of November 2018 according to Dr. Ibrahim Ayass , coordinator of NABCO. Dr Ayass told News File host Sampson Ayenini that currently  Nabco is  placing applicants with the collaboration of their module implementation partners. He explained that the module implementation partners have given an indicative date that every NABCO applicants will start work by 1st of November.

To mention a few ;  kayayoo ,truck pushing ,hawking and prostitution are the "jobs" our children of the future hold in high esteem to make ends meet.     The child Neglected becomes a liability because he/ she lacks the emotional ,physical and mental needs they are entitled to from either the parent or the society they reside. Professional electricians in Ghana to be identify on mobile app ----- Energy commission.

Lead officer of electrical wiring program at the Energy Commission of Ghana Mr. Stephen Yomoh has said the commission has introduced a mobile app which will help landlords, institutions and companies to identify certified and professional electricians in Ghana. He said the mobile app contains the pictures, names and telephone numbers of all professional electricians in Ghana. According to him this mobile app will help flash out uncertified electricians in the country. He made this revelation at the 10th Graduation Ceremony of Electricians Of electrical wiring program which was held at the NAT Hall in Kumasi. He added that all professional electricians will be trained two times every year before their certificates are been renewed by the commission. He said the commission will also monitor the quality of electrical wiring cables to avoid fire outbreaks in the country. The media interviewed Shatta Michy after the reign concert. Every Tom, Dick and Harry enjoyed Shatta Wale's reign show. However the show got very interesting   when Shatta Wale proposed to Shatta Michy with a ring on stage. It was really  an eyesaw.  Shatta Michy expressed how she felt about the proposal. According to her, she was not expecting anything  big as that on stage at that night. She concluded by saying  both of them are planning of a grand wedding which would come off very soon.

One of the fastest growing hiplife artist in Ghana whose songs have dominate all over Ghana and the globe, kwesi Arthur has performed to the satisfaction of his fans at KsTU. The 23 year old artist was in Kumasi over the weekend on invitation by the SRC of Kumasi Technical University KsTU to perform on a program dubbed the Akwaaba night which is to entertain all freshers or all first year students of the institution.One controversial sports presenter at Adom TV, Patrick Owusu popular know as 'Country man Zongo was also invited to the Akwaaba night. The program which was to start 7:00pm started at midnight due to downpour of rain at Kumasi last Friday.This young artist pull the crowd massively, students were excited to meet him.

People at Moshie Zongo cries for help from the government.

Residents of moshie zongo Adonpom are calling in the government to desilt gutters in the area. According to them all the gutters have been chocked and have made it difficult for free passage of water. Speaking to campus news reporter Malik Kausar, the residents said the whole community floods when it rains. The bad drainage system bleed a lot of mosquitos in the area which sometimes leads to the outbreak of malaria. They are therefore appealing to the assembly to desilt the drains.
