THINGS TURNS TO NORMAL AT KNUST AFTER DELIBERATIONS

Government of Ghana has dissolved the KNUST governing Council and, in its stead, put in place a 7-member Interim Council Members. It has also directed that the University reopens within fourteen days to enable academic work to continue.

Lead officer of electrical wiring program at the Energy Commission of Ghana Mr. Stephen Yomoh has said the commission has introduced a mobile app which will help landlords, institutions and companies to identify certified and professional electricians in Ghana. He said the mobile app contains the pictures, names and telephone numbers of all professional electricians in Ghana. According to him this mobile app will help flash out uncertified electricians in the country. He made this revelation at the 10th Graduation Ceremony of Electricians Of electrical wiring program which was held at the NAT Hall in Kumasi. He added that all professional electricians will be trained two times every year before their certificates are been renewed by the commission.
