THE TRUE LEADERS OF GHANA

The Priviledge of blackening one’s stool is not granted to every dead chief or queen mother without conditions on the part regarded as the greatest honor that could be conferred on a ruler, thus in many African countries only the  great men who proved to be true leaders are blackened.

There’s a country that went through colonial rule led by the white men .The people yelled for independence  , due to this, some great men within the country stood up and came up with idea to speak against the colonial rule introduced by the white men . they were ; John Mensa Sarbah , Pa Grant ,J.B Danquah ,Obetsebi Lamptey, Ako Adjei , Akuffo Addo ,William Ofori Atta, K.Gbedemah, Kojo Botsio and later Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Among these men were six detained and arrested because the white men thought they were against them in terms of buying goods made by them (white men). Due to this they were named the” BIG SIX” Dr .Kwame Nkrumah ,Obetsebi Lamptey, Ako Adjei ,Ofori Atta, J.B.Danquah and  Akuffo Addo.

Inspite of all ,  these men fought for their country’s independence .This made them the first black African country to become independent. This is no other country than GHANA.
